Gem & Bolt is a Mexican alcoholic beverage made from agave, a plant commonly used to make tequila.
The agave is combined with damiana, a traditional Mexican plant that grows in the lands of Oaxaca.
The drink was the idea of two friends who wanted to revive an old legend according to which a lightning bolt once struck the heart of an agave, also called a gem, causing a chemical reaction in it, toasting the plant and instantly fermenting the sugar it contains.
The bottle, completely white, bears the logo of a diamond and a lightning bolt, a symbol of this Mexican legend.
