Chilean Pisco 40º Reservado Alto del Carmen. This light and delicious brandy is produced in northern Chile, just outside Vicuña, in the beautiful Elqui Valley. High in the Andes Mountains, this region is famous for its Muscat grape varieties and is home to Chile's best-selling pisco brand.
Pisco Reservado 40 Alto del Carmen has received many awards, including: Double Gold Medal since 2009 at Terravino; Gold Medal at the Inter Beverage Exhibition and Conference, China, 2010; and, Gold Medal 40 Reservados at the Brussels World Competition, 2011.
This pisco is a 100% natural brandy, distilled with muscatel grapes, double distilled.
After distillation it is filtered by re-filtering and bottled at 80 degrees.
Tasting Note: It has a straw-like color.
Aroma: It has aromas of herbs and fruits, very powerful and seductive.
Palate: On the palate it is satiny and warms pleasantly, it is generously loaded with spice aromas, its finish is dry, elegant and lasts a long time.
