Red Wine 3 Squared

Winery Arts' red wine from the Vintae Winery presents this red wine from the IGP Ribera del Queiles (Spain), with the Garnacha, Merlot and Tempranillo grape varieties.

Cultivation: This is a selection of old, low-production vineyards from the high slopes at the foot of Moncayo, in Aragon, to the warmer lands through which the Queiles River flows, already within the community of Navarre.

Its soil is an emerged territory from an ancient sea, with fluvial sedimentation, in which we find mainly gravel and sand, as well as clay, silt and sandstone.

The climate of that vintage was generally warm, with a mild winter that was somewhat wetter than usual, and a dry summer that was less hot than the previous one.

The grape harvest took place in mid-September in the lower part of the vineyards, as well as in the first weeks of October in the higher vineyards.

It is collected in 15 kg boxes and quickly transported to the warehouse.

Preparation: For its preparation, a fermentation and maceration was carried out in 15,000 kg vats at 28 degrees for one month.

It also underwent malolactic maceration in French oak barrels.

Batonage was performed weekly and the barrels were checked individually.

It was aged for 14 months in single-use French and American oak barrels.

Unusual, sweet and easy to drink, are the three characteristics that are concentrated in this red wine from Vintae that comes from the unknown Ribera del Queiles; an area found in an interesting wine triangle located between Navarra and Aragón in which a production characteristic of the style of New World wines prevails.

The symbolism of the name (3 squared) represents the soil, water, sun and wind in a bottle, showing us the potential of this area.
