CHOZAS CARRASCAL LAS 2 CESE RED WINE is a project of the López Family, together with the well-known French winemaker Michael Poudou.
The Chozas Carrascal estate is located 700 meters above sea level, in San Antonio de Requena, between the towns of Requena and Utiel.
In this area the vineyard has scarce but high quality productions, with very alcoholic and concentrated wines.
The grapes are harvested at dawn when they are cold.
It has concrete and steel tanks, and is the subject of study at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
The Chozas Carrascal winery is committed to protecting the environment.
In 2010 all of their wines became certified organic.
It is a wine made with a mixture of Bobal, Tempranillo and Syrah grapes, with a different maceration for each grape variety and fermentation at less than 25ºC.
