Founded in 2020 by Mikko Alkio, a Finn in love with viticulture and Catalan tradition, Clos Alkio has acquired some 25 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Priorat, one of the most prestigious areas for wine cultivation in Spain.

The winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines, respecting the winemaking tradition of the region and mainly using old Garnacha and Cariñena vines, along with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Tempranillo.

In addition, the winery produces complex white wines, offering a range of single-varietal wines that allow you to taste the authentic and natural flavors of the grapes grown in Priorat.

Clos Alkio has invested in state-of-the-art machinery to ensure that each bottle reflects excellence in its production.

Since August 2022, production capacity has increased to 25,000 kg of grapes per year, demonstrating the winery's growth and consolidation.
