Founded in 2020 by Mikko Alkio, a Finn in love with viticulture and the Catalonia region, Clos Alkio has acquired 25 hectares of vineyards in the small village of Gratallops, located in the heart of the prestigious Priorat wine region.

The winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines following the Priorat tradition, mainly using old Garnacha and Cariñena vines, and international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and, of course, Tempranillo.

In addition to red wines, Clos Alkio also produces complex white wines, standing out for its focus on unique single-varietal wines that allow wine lovers to enjoy the purest and most natural flavors of the grapes grown in the region.

The winery has invested in the best machinery and production technology to guarantee the highest quality in every wine it produces.

Since August 2022, its production capacity has increased to 25,000 kg of grapes per year, ensuring greater consistency and quality in its wines.
