La Quinta Vendimia presents the La Quinta Vendimia Crianza Red Wine from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (Spain), made from 100% Tinta del País grape varieties, from old vines (80 years old) in Alcubilla del Marqués and Pedraja de San Esteban, Soria.
This wine has been aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, giving it exceptional complexity and depth.
Our century-old vineyards of Tinta del País and Albillo are distributed in different orientations, on loam and sandy-loam soils with a variable presence of pebbles depending on the plot.
This diversity of soils and orientations contributes to the complexity and aromatic richness of the wine, allowing for optimal ripening of the grapes and the development of unique characteristics in each bottle.
La Quinta Vendimia Crianza red wine is made with grapes of the Tinta del País variety (100%) from old vineyards located in Alcubilla del Marqués and Pedraja de San Esteban, in the province of Soria.
The harvest is done manually, selecting the bunches at their optimal point of ripeness.
Subsequently, they are destemmed and fermented spontaneously, with a post-fermentation maceration that extracts the maximum amount of aromatic compounds and soft tannins from the grapes.
The must is gently pressed and aged for 14 months in new 500-liter French oak barrels, which imparts spicy and vanilla notes and a well-integrated tannic structure.
La Quinta Vendimia Crianza red wine stands out for its intense and bright red color.
On the nose, it presents complex aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, along with subtle notes of spices, vanilla and cocoa derived from its aging in oak.
