Vini Readers presents the La Selección Montsant Vini Readers Red Wine, which comes from wineries located in the town of El Masroig, DO Montsant (Spain), made from the grape varieties 80% Garnacha, 15% Mazuelo, 3% Tempranillo and 2% Blanco.
The vineyards are developed in a Mediterranean climate with diverse ages (from 10 to 40 years) and altitudes (an average of 300 meters).
The cultivation is mainly done on trellises, some in vases, and all are done organically.
The 2022 grape harvest took place from September 4th to 21st.
In the winery, the grapes macerated for 9 days, with 90% destemmed bunches and 10% whole bunches.
Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, followed by aging for 9 months with fine yeasts.
The wine was gently filtered before bottling.
