The Lunatic Red Wine from Bodega Casa de la Ermita (Jumilla, Murcia), presents this red wine from the D.

EITHER.

Jumilla, made from 100% Monastrell grape varieties.

It feels fresh on the outside and soothing on the inside.

Winemaking: Manual harvesting of the grapes and selection of bunches in the field and later in the winery.

Cold pre-fermentation maceration in stainless steel tanks for 5 days to extract the aromas of the grape.

Aged for 12 months in 225 liter French oak barrels.

No clarification or cold stabilization treatment is performed.

Recommended serving temperature: Between 15 and 16ºC.

The main varieties cultivated are Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah and Monastrell, all of them treated to achieve a perfect adaptation to exceptional soil and climate.

The winery has an experimental plot dedicated to innovation and development in order to achieve a new, more carefully crafted and dedicated product every day to surprise its consumers and boost the sector, cultivating varieties that are little used in this area and have great potential.

Among the experimental crops, Viognier, Touriga Nacional, Caladoc, Egiodolá, Rousanne, Marsanne, Gewurztraminer and Malbec stand out.

Several plots are worked according to the requirements of "Organic Farming", in fact at Casa de la Ermita the first organic wines of Jumilla are produced and pioneers in the Region of Murcia, thanks to the fact that its vineyards have respected the legislation of "organic farming" for more than 5 years.
