Martínez Lacuesta Hinia Red Wine is an authentic Rioja that stands out for its freshness, smoothness and perfectly balanced acidity.

Thanks to aging for 36 months in American oak barrels, with six manual gravity rackings, this wine develops a refined structure and a unique character that faithfully represents the tradition of the Rioja Designation of Origin.

The grapes that give life to this wine come exclusively from the vineyards of Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta, located in Haro, at an altitude of 430-500 meters above sea level.

These vines, planted more than 40 years ago, are situated on clay-limestone soils, rich in history and marine fossils, which give the wine a unique personality.

The harvest is done manually at the end of September, carefully selecting the grapes and transporting them in refrigerated boxes to preserve their quality.

After light destemming and crushing, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place naturally in American oak vats.

In January 2013, the final blend was made, and the wine began its long aging process in our own manufactured barrels, which culminated in bottling in December 2016.
