MATSU EL VIEJO RED WINE. Matsu el Viejo red wine is made with 100% Tinta de Toro grapes. The vineyards are over 100 years old, cultivated biodynamically, and producing grapes.
Hand-harvested in the first half of October. This wine ferments and macerates in 10,000-kilogram concrete tanks for 3 weeks.
It is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. This wine, the eldest of the Matsu Trilogy, represents the old winemaker, using the experience of age to express his serenity, perseverance, and strength...
Just like wine itself. Serve this wine at a temperature between 16° and 18°C. Decanting before serving is recommended.
