MACALLAN SIENNA WHISKY Macallan Sienna Whisky belongs to the Macallan 1824 range of whiskies, which is characterized by removing the minimum age of the whisky from the label.

Instead of age, the range offers sensations that correspond to the colors of each bottle.

The Macallan distillery is famous for using unusually small copper stills to give the whisky maximum contact with the copper, which helps in the concentration of the newly created distillate.

These stills are so famous that they even appear on the Bank of Scotland's 10 pound notes.

The main ingredient in all Macallan spirits is Spanish oak casks seasoned with sherry and American oak casks seasoned with bourbon, which contribute 60% of the flavor and aromas to the whisky.

This also ensures that all colors are natural, and no Macallan product contains artificial colorings. It is solely the interaction of the newly created distillate with the oak in the aging casks that imparts the wide range of natural colors found in all whiskies, from light oak to the darkest mahogany.

The Macallan Sienna Whisky is one of the five whiskies that make up the range called The Macallan 1824 Series.

This whisky is the third strongest and gets its name from its coppery color.

Nose: It presents subtle notes of vanilla.

The orange emerges with intense and juicy notes, and the soft green apple brings freshness and balance.

Next, you'll find white chocolate truffles, pleasant and exquisite, with elegant oak undertones.

On the palate: Predominant notes of dates, figs and raisins give way to nutmeg and ginger, with hints of orange and apple preceding the triumphant emergence of vanilla.
