Seagram's becomes a partner and later the 100% owner of the Distillery, which then becomes known as Seagram's Distillery.
In 1929 the distillery was purchased by Distillers Corporation Limited, which retained and assumed the name Seagrams for the distillery.
Seagrams Extra Dry Gin began production under the name Seagrams Gin in 1939 in Indiana (USA).
The classic Seagrams Gin bottle, since it began to be marketed in 1939, has irregular shapes on its sides, which gave it the nickname of the bumpy bottle smooth gin.
The Seagrams Gin bottle was originally designed with seashell inlays to give it a raised texture.
The Seagram family crest adorns the front of the bottle.
