The wine is made with a blend of Tempranillo (95%) and Merlot (5%), selected from 33 rows of the "La Marquesa", "La Travesaña" and "La Marota" vineyards, located in Quintana del Pidio, and from the Valdepalacios vineyard in Anguix, where the Merlot comes from.

These vineyards are located at altitudes between 820 and 845 meters above sea level, in soils where pebbles and sandy loam predominate, ideal conditions for the balanced development of the vine.

The vineyards are between 20 and 40 years old, which guarantees varietal maturity and exceptional quality.

During the campaign, optimal weather conditions were recorded, with normal temperatures for the area, no rain since the beginning of September, and strong thermal contrasts between day and night, which allowed for a slow ripening and a calm harvest, with healthy grapes in an optimal state for processing.

The aging process took place over 16 months in French (75%) and American (25%) oak barrels, combining new, second and third year barrels, which gives the wine a perfect balance between fruit, wood and complexity.

On the nose, Montevannos 33 Lines Red Wine presents deep notes of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, cocoa and an elegant mineral background.

On the palate it is structured, with silky tannins, excellent acidity and a long finish that invites you to continue enjoying it.
