The new Protos facilities (designed by Richard Rogers) are connected underground to the old winery, which has galleries excavated in the mountain of Peñafiel Castle, where the winery's wines currently mature in unbeatable conditions.
Protos Crianza Red Wine is harvested manually in 20 kg boxes.

Maceration with skins and fermentation for 21 days at 28 ºC.
It is made with 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes.
It is aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels.
