Mezcal Derrumbes presents Derrumbes Michoacán, originating from the lands of Tzitzio, Michoacán (Mexico) made from the Cupreata (Asparagaceae) and Alto (Ineaquidens) agave varieties.

The second variety of the Derrumbes brand is a refined blend of Chino and Alto de Michoacán agaves, which are distilled using a unique ancestral technique.

Chino agave brings ripe fruit notes, while Alto complements it with a delicate herbaceous flavor reminiscent of the pine forests surrounding the region.

Fermentation takes place under the red clay floor of the tavern, in pits lined with pine wood to protect it from the low temperatures.

Subsequently, it is distilled in Filipino-style stills made of wood and copper over a direct flame.

This unique sensory experience is created by expert master distiller Guadalupe Pérez from the town of Tzitzio.
