Tequila Herradura Reposado is made from Weber blue agave.
This tequila is distilled in two stages to achieve a clean and pure flavor, and then aged for 11 months in American oak barrels, which gives it body and a sweet, rounded taste. Herradura is the most respected name in the tequila industry.
For five generations, the Romo family has managed to remain faithful to the tradition bequeathed by its founder, Don Feliciano.
In this distillery, only the healthiest and most mature agave plants are used, which are cooked in traditional clay ovens before distillation, just as it was done more than 100 years ago.
Their reposado tequila ages for 11 months in oak barrels, just one month away from becoming añejo.
This makes it the "oldest" reposado of all tequilas.
