Sanzo Sobre Lías White Wine is a wine produced by the Rodríguez Sanzo company, which includes among its productions the most well-known Designations of Origin in the Spanish territory, Rueda.
Viña Sanzo sobre Lías displays varietal aromas with hints of fennel, mint, and flowers, with a background of tropical fruits. It is recommended to serve it at 10 degrees Celsius.
Production: Very few wineries use batonage of the fine lees in the tank, and even fewer do batonage of lees in the barrel.
When we perform the batonage with the lees in the barrel, we achieve more body, concentration, and complexity.
Increasing the proportion of lees will increase complexity, but we need to keep the mixture for a longer time.
This is how we have discovered a new way to produce a new verdejo with excellent bottle aging and maximum complexity.
The wine has been 50% with the lees in new barrels for 9 months, doing a batonage twice a day for two months and then once a day every two days until finished.
Today, the wine is bottled maturing and its aromatic characteristics are unique.
