Crianza The Clea Crianza Red Wine is aged for fourteen months in French oak barrels that have been used for one to two years.

A Wine with a Purpose Clea Crianza Red Wine is a wine made with the Tempranillo or Tinta Fina grape variety from the most inhospitable vineyards of the Burgos and Soria rivers, an area that Bodega Bardos has known for years and knows how to work the land.

The conditions in this region are extreme and harsh, but that's what makes the old vines bring out the best in them, as do the brave women who take care of them.

Harvest and Production For this red wine, the harvest took place during the last week of September and the first week of October.

The bunches are collected in 15 kg boxes and taken to the winery in small trailers.

Once in the winery, they ferment and undergo maceration in 15,000 kg vats, at 28 degrees for three or four weeks.

They then carry out malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, with weekly batonage and monitoring the barrels one by one.

A FADEMUR and Bodega Bardos project: FADEMUR, the Federation of Associations of Rural Women of Spain, and Bodega Bardos join forces to create the Clea Project; which will be dedicated each year to promoting female entrepreneurship in rural areas.

The initiative for this project goes hand in hand with the launch of the new Clea Crianza Red Wine, with which the winery wants to highlight the important role of women as a pillar of life in the countryside.

Bodega Bardos will contribute 7,000 euros annually to promote female inclusion and the economic development of projects that add value.
