JUMILLA CLAY BOOTS Varietal: Monastrell Region: D.
Jumilla is located between the Mediterranean coast and the high plains of Castilla La Mancha and arid plains and with its semi-arid "Mediterranean-continental" climate, it is the driest wine-growing region in Spain.
Monastrell, the star grape, produces wines with intense color, good structure with rounded tannins and intense fruit flavors (ripe black berries, cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants).
Vineyards: Ungrafted vineyards, with an average age of 60 years.
Located in the sandy, extremely dry valleys of Jumilla.
Winemaking: Initial fresh maceration at 7ºC for about 3 days.
Fermentation in stainless steel at 27ºC.
4 months in French oak.
Clarification, cold stabilization and filtration before bottling.
