BOTAS DE BARRO TORO Varietal: Tinta de ToroRegion: ToroToro is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Spain and is considered one of the most premium regions for the production of great red wines.
Thanks to its extreme temperatures and dry climate, the Tempranillo grape, known locally as Tinta de Toro, produces very structured wines with great aromatic complexity and an incredibly intense color.
Some of the oldest vineyards in the world (over 140 years old) can be found in this region thanks to its sandy soils that protected the area from the devastating phylloxera plague in the late 19th century.
They are also among the vineyards with the lowest yields in the world!! Vineyards: Centuries-old vines located in the highest, driest and most arid plains of Castile and León.
