Calabuig Red Wine belongs to Bodegas Arraez and has a Valencia Designation of Origin.
It is made from the Monastrell and Garnacha varieties.
The vineyards are located in an elevated area, between 600 and 800 m above sea level, about 90 km from the sea, on clay and calcareous soils, and in a climate between Mediterranean and continental, with cold winters and very hot summers.
The grapes are harvested at their optimal ripeness, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºc for 30 days.
It is then stabilized, filtered and bottled.
