CASTILLO DE SAJAZARRA "GOLD" AT THE BRUSSELS WORLD COMPETITION "Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva Tempranillo Red Wine belongs to the Castillo de Sajazarra Vineyards and Wineries, with a Rioja Designation of Origin.
They are made from very ripe grapes, from low-yield vineyards.
Between 10% and 20% of the total undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonnage.
It is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, finishing its time in wood with 3 more months in French oak vats.
Finally, it remains in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being marketed.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
