Condado de Oriza Crianza Red Wine

Pagos del Rey Winery presents Condado de Oriza Crianza Red Wine, a prominent example of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (Spain), made exclusively from the 100% Tempranillo grape variety, also known as Tinta del País.

The grapes come from vineyards over 20 years old, carefully selected in the surroundings of Olmedillo de Roa (Burgos).

The process begins with a rigorous selection of the grapes, which then undergo a maceration period of 2 days.

Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28ºC, which allows the maximum extraction of the varietal expression of Tempranillo.

Once fermentation is complete, the wine undergoes aging for 14 months in new American oak barrels.

This aging process gives the wine its aromatic complexity and tannic structure.

After this period in the barrel, the wine is bottled and remains in the bottle for 9 months, refining its characteristics before going to market.
