Piedra Reserva Red Wine: It is a wine from Bodegas Estancia Piedra, made with 75% Tinta de Toro grapes and 25% Garnacha grapes from the vineyards of the Paraje Estancia Piedra estates (1968).
The grape harvest is done manually, in 20kg boxes, during the second half of September. When the grapes arrive at the winery, they are placed on the sorting tables for strict quality control.
Piedra Reserva red wine undergoes an 8-day fermentation in a 15,000-liter stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature (maximum 25ºC) with frequent pump-overs, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels and aging for 18 months: 85% French oak and 15% American oak.
Piedra Reserva red wine has a minimum bottle aging of 36 months.
A very light filtration is performed during bottling.
Piedra Reserva wine is a wine especially recommended to accompany red meats and game stews.
