From the heart of the Uco Valley, in the renowned Paraje Altamira, comes the Rompecabezas Blend Malbec - Cabernet Franc Red Wine, a masterful combination that reflects the identity of the Mendoza terroir.

Made with a careful manual selection of 65% Malbec and 35% Cabernet Franc grapes from the 2019 vintage, this wine stands out for its complexity and balance.

The calcareous and alluvial soil of this region provides a marked minerality and freshness, fundamental attributes to achieve a wine with great structure and elegance.

The process begins with a pre-fermentation maceration designed to intensely extract color and fruity aromas.

Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for 28 days, using indigenous yeasts and gentle techniques that respect the integrity of the fruit as much as possible.

Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, malolactic fermentation takes place in contact with the skins, which gives the wine greater complexity and roundness.

The next step is its aging for 18 months in 225-liter French oak barrels of first, second and third use, providing subtle notes of wood and depth without obscuring the expression of the fruit.

The result is an elegant red wine, with polished tannins and a complex aromatic profile, combining notes of ripe red and black fruits with delicate herbal and spicy touches, contributed by the Cabernet Franc.

This blend has been crafted by renowned winemaker Felipe Stahlschmidt, who has managed to capture the essence of Paraje Altamira in every bottle.
