The soil where these centuries-old vines are grown is clayey, with a structure that favors the retention of nutrients, adding depth and complexity to the wine.

Located high on a gentle slope, this vineyard allows rainwater to filter through naturally, forcing the plant to focus its energy on producing higher quality, lower yield grapes.

The altitude, greater than 650 meters, is a constant in the Mas de Llucia vineyards.

The manual harvest, in 20 kg boxes, ensures that each bunch arrives at the winery in perfect condition.

After meticulous destemming and crushing, maceration and fermentation begin, fundamental processes to extract the character and identity of the wine.

The racking is done by tasting, selecting the optimal moment based on the balance between fruit, tannin and freshness.

To add roundness and structure, the wine undergoes a light aging in second-year French oak barrels for 24 weeks.

This aging process is designed to soften the tannins and refine the wine's profile, without masking the delicacy of the fruit or introducing dominant aromas of wood.
