Sintauto is a red wine produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce with 100% Graciano grapes.
It is aged in French oak barrels.
VineyardGrapes from our vineyard “Los Olivos”, located in the lower part of the slopes of Yerga, in the municipality of Alfaro.
This one was planted in 1995 and its vines are trained on a trellis.
Production: The harvest is done by hand.
The grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed before filling the tank where maceration and fermentation take place simultaneously.
The time the grape skins spend in the tank is optimal for obtaining a long-lived varietal wine.
It remains in French oak for around 12 months, depending on the vintage.
We are dealing with a wine that has not undergone any kind of treatment, which may have a slight sediment at the bottom of the bottle, a consequence of its natural evolution.
