Bodegas y Viñedos Labastida presents the Solagüen Reserva Red Wine from the Rioja Designation of Origin (Spain), made from 100% Tempranillo grape varieties.
THE GRAPES Tempranillo grapes from 30 to 50 year old vineyards arranged in a goblet shape and located between 580 and 640 meters above sea level, hand-picked.
HARVEST Rated as excellent, the evolution of the vineyard has maintained an excellent vegetative and sanitary state until the end of the cycle, thanks to the fact that it has barely suffered the incidence of damage from climatic causes, such as frosts or storms, as well as pests and diseases, which has led to a correct evolution of the most significant parameters for the final quality and the exceptional sanitary state of the grapes of this harvest.
PRODUCTION: Grapes destemmed and macerated for 22 days with thermal control at 26°C.
Subsequent bleeding due to gravity and a second spontaneous malolactic fermentation after two weeks.
