Bodegas y Viñedos Anceña presents the Terraesteban Crianza Red Wine from the D.

Ribera del Duero (Spain), made from several varieties of grapes 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo).

Terraesteban Crianza Red Wine is obtained from vines over 15 years old located in Quintanilla de Tres Barrios, in the province of Soria.

This wine is 100% Tempranillo, from vineyards that produce less than 5,000 kg/Ha in dryland areas with poor soils, pebble gravel, soft sands and calcareous bottom, facing south on slopes.

The harvest is done manually in 200 kg boxes and is carefully selected in the vineyard before arriving at the winery, where a vibrating sorting table is used.

The maximum time between harvesting and incubation is 3 hours.

After incubation, a minimum pre-fermentation maceration of 48 hours is carried out, followed by controlled fermentation at temperatures below 30ºC.

The total maceration lasts from 18 to 25 days with periodic pump-overs and manual punch-downs every 4 or 6 hours.

After determining the end of maceration through tastings and chemical analysis, gentle pressing and racking are carried out after 48 hours to remove the coarse lees.

Spontaneous malolactic fermentation takes place at 22ºC.

The wine ages in fine-grained American oak barrels, split French oak and selected Hungarian oak for 12 to 14 months, depending on the vintage.

Afterwards, it rests in a bottle rack for at least 6 months before going to market.
