Clos Alkio Red Wine is a masterpiece from the DOQ Priorat Designation of Origin (Spain), made from a careful blend of grapes: 30% Garnacha Negra, 30% Cariñena, 20% Syrah and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

This wine is characterized by its aging in French oak barrels for 12 months, which gives it exceptional complexity and smoothness.

With a limited production of only 1,110 bottles, each bottle reflects Clos Alkio's commitment to quality and exclusivity.

The Clos Alkio winery was founded in 2020 by Mikko Alkio, a Finn passionate about wine and the Catalonia region.

Clos Alkio has acquired 25 hectares of vineyards in the area surrounding Gratallops, a small village in the heart of Priorat, one of the most prestigious wine-growing regions in Spain.

The winery aims to produce high-quality wines following the winemaking traditions of Priorat, mainly from old Garnacha and Cariñena vines, and international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Tempranillo.

In addition to its red wines, Clos Alkio also produces complex white wines, standing out for its dedication to unique single-varietal wines that allow wine lovers to enjoy the most authentic and natural flavors of Priorat grapes.

To guarantee excellence in its production, the winery has invested in state-of-the-art machinery and the best winemaking tools.

Since August 2022, its production capacity has increased to 25,000 kg of grapes per year.
