Bullas has a 100% Monastrell grape variety from vineyards over 50 years old. The soil of this vineyard is deep alluvial with a limestone base, poor in organic matter, and the presence of clay occurs in grains with thicker skins.
The winemaking process is manual; for the production of this wine, maceration takes place over 10 days under controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for 12 months in French oak barrels.
The 2014 vintage of Lavia Origen wine received 91 points from Robert Parke's Wine Advocate.
Lavia wines are wines with a lot of craftsmanship; these wines are born from the land located in Venta del Pino, where there is great scenic richness and a strong viticultural character; it is there that the Monastrell variety vineyards are located at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level.
