These geographical characteristics provide optimal conditions for the cultivation of Tinta de Toro.
The region's continental climate with Atlantic influences, characterized by cold winters and hot summers with many hours of daylight, along with significant temperature swings between day and night during the ripening stage, allows for the production of high-quality grapes.
Annual rainfall is close to 400 mm, which also contributes to the water balance of the vineyards.
The production process of Los Bayones Finca La Manga Red Wine begins with the manual harvesting of grapes in vineyards between 15 and 40 years old planted in a goblet style.
After careful selection, the grapes undergo controlled fermentation and the wine is subsequently aged for 14 months in oak barrels, which gives it complexity and structure.
