Odum Selección Organic Monastrell Red Wine. Odum is made from organic Monastrell grapes, produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Ecológicos Odum, and has a protected designation of origin located in the Yecla and Jumilla areas, in the Altiplano region of Murcia. Grown on limestone hillsides under a mountain microclimate, these conditions result in a captivating wine, offering a wide range of aromas and flavors, with a cherry-red color and dark hues.
The grapes are harvested in the first half of October, with a 100% manual daytime harvest.
It is made by destemming and maceration lasted 21 days. Aged in 400L fine-grain French oak barrels.
It contains an alcoholic strength of 15.10%. This organic wine has obtained a Gold Medal in the National Competition of single-varietal wines organized by the association of gastronomic and oenological press media “A la mesa”, in collaboration with the Open Wine Classroom.
