Purity Organic Craft Nordic Navy Strength Gin. Intensity is the most prominent feature of Purity's Navy Strength, which has received several awards, including being named the best gin in the world at the International Spirit Challenge 2020.
Selected botanicals such as organic juniper and Nordic berries are added to the 34-times distilled base to achieve a surprising and delicious burst of flavor that adds character to any cocktail.
Navy Strength gins are those with a proof of 57 or higher and owe their name to the historic custom of the British Navy of storing barrels of gin on their ships alongside gunpowder.
Only with that high alcohol content could he ensure that if there was a leak in the distillate containers and it got the gunpowder wet, it could still explode.
