Mezcal Unión Viejo is a young mezcal that is made in Oaxaca (Mexico).
100% artisanal production with a mixture of two different types of agave (Espadín and Tobalá).
It is ideal to accompany with Cincho Añejo cheese and Guava Paste.
Tasting Mezcal Unión Viejo is quite an experience.
At first, its artisanal nature is revealed through notes of oak and mesquite wood.
Then, flavors of caramelized agave give way to Tobalá agave, with floral and herbal tones that, in the end, fade away to leave a sweet sensation, but also with reminiscences of Espadín agave.
In the production process, the milling is done using the Chilean Tahona technique and the distillation is done by Copper Still, finally it is packaged in glass bottles with cork.
