The Pacharán Ezcaba from Bodegas Navarras presents us with this Anise with a very fine palate.

CultivationIn 1987 we launched Pacharán Navarro Ezcaba as a tribute to a historic product of our winery: Ezcaba champagne.

From 1940 to 1972 we produced this exquisite and renowned sparkling white wine in our facilities following the "Champenoise" method of production.

He also remembers, with the affection that all the residents of Villaviciosa have for him, our nearest mountain: Mount Ezcaba.

Preparation: Pacharán Ezcaba is made with more than 250 gr.

The difference with Pacharán Basarana Etiqueta Negra is that Pacharán Ezcaba contains slightly more sugar and is bottled in our characteristic Anís Las Cadenas bottle.

Storage Before opening: Total absence of light.

Light is one of the main agents responsible for the degradation of the drink, accelerating the natural oxidation process and considerably shortening the life of the pacharán.

Constant temperature.

Heat is the other major cause of pacharán oxidation, therefore, we will always try to store it away from heat sources.

Once opened: it is advisable to keep it in the refrigerator, thus maintaining its properties, characteristics and nuances for longer.

To serve: Simply tasting it allows us to appreciate all the aromas of the drink.

The best way to enjoy pacharán is to drink it cold (having refrigerated it before consumption).

Ice is usually how they are served in hospitality establishments.

It is preferable to drink it cold rather than with ice, as this distorts the flavor and aromas of the pacharán.

If what we are looking for is to lower the alcoholic content of the drink, it is better to consume products like Basarana 20, which maintain all the flavor of Basarana Black Label, but with a lower alcohol content.

It is usually served in both a highball glass and aniseed glass.

As a mixed drink, the most popular is "butano", which is obtained by adding orange juice or soda (according to taste) to pacharán.
