Rooater Rojo Reposado Tequila: This is a tequila that rests for between 2 and 6 months in French oak barrels that previously contained Cognac to achieve a different touch.
Blue agave pineapples are manually selected when they have matured for 6-7 months and have sugar levels between 24 and 27%.
This level of sweetness plus the strategy of cutting it in halves instead of pieces, gives the Reposado a sweetness and bronze color, with subtle aromas of vanilla, cinnamon and butterscotch.
All of this results in a silky, warm, and rich finish on the palate.
Rooster Rojo Reposado tequila is a 100% hand-selected Blue Agave tequila.
The agave hearts come from the Highlands of Jalisco and Tequila in Mexico, from carefully selected and cultivated fields.
The water used in the distillation process of this tequila is filtered with Mexican silver, which gives the tequila a complex character and a smooth taste.
