Rioja (Spain), created from the Tempranillo Blanco grape varieties. It is aged in barrels in the presence of its lees for 4 months and subsequently aged in the bottle for a minimum of 8 months.
The origin of this variety is recent.
Originating from the natural mutation of a red grape variety, the DOCa has placed special emphasis on developing this grape as a complement to the Viura variety.
The wine has fermented in new 225L barrels of French oak from Allier and Vosges and American oak from Ohio, in order to respect as much as possible the aromatic qualities of the variety.
It is then aged in the same barrels in the presence of its lees for 6 months, with weekly batonages.
