Lo Foc Mas de Llucia White Wine is the result of the harmonious union between two generations of vineyards on the Mas de Llucia estate, located in the heart of Teruel (Spain).

This white wine brings together the best of the Macabeo experience, planted in 1970, with the freshness and vitality of the Garnacha Blanca, cultivated in 2016, achieving a balanced blend full of nuances.

The grapes come from two carefully selected plots.

Garnacha blanca develops on clay soil, which provides structure and minerality.

For its part, the Macabeo grows in a plot near the river, where the soil is mixed with pebbles, improving drainage and favoring the concentration of aromas.

Both plots are located at an altitude of over 600 meters, on the southwest slope of Punta Molinera, a location that guarantees nighttime coolness and good aeration, essential elements to preserve natural acidity and enhance the varietal character.

The production of Lo Foc Mas de Llucia White Wine begins with a manual harvest in 20 kg boxes, followed by a meticulous selection of the bunches.

After destemming and crushing, a cold maceration is carried out for a few hours, which allows the aromatic potential of the grapes to be gently extracted.

Subsequently, each variety ferments separately at low temperature for 30 days, which guarantees a slow fermentation, preserving the primary aromas.

The process continues with aging on fine lees for 6 months, which adds volume, texture and complexity to the palate.

In addition, a light maceration with oak wood is applied, which adds elegance and subtle spicy notes without detracting from the prominence of the fruit.

Finally, the two varieties are blended before bottling, resulting in a balanced, expressive and very gastronomic white wine.

The result is a white wine with great personality, combining freshness, structure and a delicate aromatic complexity.
