Mirlo White Wine from Bodega Alegre Wines & Spirits presents this white wine from the D.

Rueda, made from 100% Verdejo grape varieties.

This wine is a tribute to the quintessential variety of the La Seca area (Valladolid).

A wine made with passion, the right balance between barrel fermentation and freshness, unctuousness on the palate and acidity.

The grapes come from a vineyard with old vines between 50 and 70 years old, planted in a goblet style.

The vines, in the historical setting known as Tresbolillo, are grouped in fives.

The soil is clay loam, covered with river stones, and is very important for achieving quality grapes.

The surface sands (given its proximity to the river, at an altitude of 700 meters) and the continental climate with its strong day-night contrasts coat the grapes with all their character.

Production: Half of the fermentation takes place in 300-500 liter barrels and the other half in stainless steel tanks, where the wine rests with its fine lees for 5 months, until the moment when both wines are combined.

Wood is used to round out the wine, to give it a mouthfeel, not to disguise it with woody aromas.
