Jerez. The grape harvest in the "Marco de Jerez" is of utmost importance for the production of Croft Original Generous Wine. The grapes are picked by hand to ensure they arrive at the winery in optimal condition. Once at the winery, the grapes are carefully pressed without crushing the stems, seeds, and skin.
The must obtained from this first pressing is known as "free-run must" and is the most delicate and elegant.
Croft Original Generous Wine has been bottled in a very different bottle than those that normally contain sherries; the label is written in English in honor of the great fondness of the English for these wines.
