Lustau East India Solera Fortified Wine. Lustau East India Solera Fortified Wine is made from 80% Palomino and 20% Pedro Ximénez, reproducing the aging process that wines underwent in the 17th century on transatlantic voyages to British colonies.
The two types of wine age separately for 12 years and are then combined to age together under a Solera of 45 casks located in the Sacristy of the Winery.
The average breeding time is 15 years.
The East India Solera Lustau Fortified Wine was rated 96 points by Parker in The Wine Advocate guide and has received international awards, such as: the silver medal at the International Wine Challenge 2017 or also the silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards of the same year.
It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature between 12-13º.
Ideally, it can be accompanied by a cheese board, foie gras, or all kinds of desserts.
Its unique personality has made the East India Solera Lustau Generous Wine a true benchmark in international cocktail culture today.
It can also be served in a wide glass, with plenty of ice and a slice of orange.
