Lustau Peninsula Palo Cortado Wine: Lustau Peninsula Palo Cortado Wine is a wine aged under a veil of flor using the traditional Solera and Criaderas system in American oak casks, made exclusively with Palomino grapes.

It is an extremely versatile wine, aged for an average of 12 years.

Lustau Peninsula Palo Cortado wine manages to unify the delicacy of an Amontillado, along with the body and richness of an Oloroso.

Among the accolades this wine has received are a 96-point Parker score in The Wine Advocate, as well as the silver medal at the International Wine Challenge in 2013 and 2016.

It also won second place in the 2013 International Wine & Spirit Competition.

It is part of the Solera Familiar range, which incorporates all the tradition of the first soleras with which Emilio Lustau began a legacy in Jerez de la Frontera.

Solera and Criadera is the traditional method used to age fermented and spirituous Jerez wines.

It is pyramid-shaped, with the top being the solera, where the youngest wine enters and descends towards the criaderas.

It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature between 13-14º.

The ideal pairing for Lustau Península Palo Cortado wine is with a cheese board and Iberian ham.
