Adaras Aldeas red wine is a wine from Almansa made with 80% Garnacha Tintorera and 20% Syrah.
The vineyards used to make Adaras Aldeas wine are approximately 20 years old and are located at about 850 meters above sea level in clay soils, with limestone strata found at depth.
These vineyards yield about 5,000 kilos per hectare.
The harvest for Adaras Aldeas red wine is normally carried out during the second half of September for Garnacha Tintorera and at the end of October for Syrah.
For the winemaking of Adaras Aldeas Maceración, the grapes are hand-harvested in 15 kg boxes, and then a selection is made in the field and on a sorting table before entering the winery.
The maceration and fermentation lasts around 20 days, with controlled maximum temperatures of 30ºC in stainless steel tanks and vats, after which the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place naturally, the latter lasting for 3 months.
Finally, it is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels, which gives this wine body and structure, making it very easy to drink.
