Condado de Oriza Reserva Red Wine

The Pagos del Rey Winery presents the Condado de Oriza Reserva Red Wine, an oenological jewel from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (Spain), made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, known locally as Tinta del País.

This wine stands out for the careful selection of grapes from vineyards over 20 years old, located in the vicinity of Olmedillo de Roa (Burgos), one of the most prestigious areas in the region.

The production process of Condado de Oriza Reserva begins with a meticulous selection of the grapes, followed by a 5-day maceration period to extract the maximum aromatic and structural compounds from the grape.

Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28ºC, ensuring the maximum varietal expression of Tempranillo.

After fermentation, the wine undergoes aging for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, which gives it complexity and elegance.

Finally, the wine rests for 12 months in the bottle, refining its character before going to market.

To fully enjoy the qualities of this wine, it is recommended to serve it between 15 and 16ºC.

It is advisable to decant it or open the bottle half an hour before serving, allowing the wine to breathe and release all its aromas.
