Conde de San Cristóbal Red Wine In the heart of the peninsula, located on the northern plateau and with the Duero River as its axis, is the Conde de San Cristóbal Winery under the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, one of the most prestigious in Spain.
Its vineyards enjoy an extreme continental climate with marked temperature fluctuations and moderate rainfall.
Climatic characteristics that have a great influence on the vegetative cycle of the plant and the ripening of the grape.
Thanks to the extreme temperatures combined with the mountain winds, the wines acquire a high level of acidity, which provides greater structure and longevity.
These are opulent wines, with plenty of fruit, body and color typical of this wine region.
This wine is made from (86%) Tinto Fino grapes, (6%) Cabernet Sauvignon and (6%) Merlot.
Aged for 12 to 14 months in French, Russian (Caucasus) and American oak barrels, from different cooperages, with light and medium toasting.
It has an alcoholic strength of 14.5% vol.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 15°C and 16°C.
Additionally, it is recommended to decant before serving.
