Emilio Moro Winery: The story of the Moro family has been written since 1932 as a project of three generations rooted in the Ribera del Duero and dedicated to discovering the characteristics of their terroir in order to transmit them in wines with personality.
Emilio Moro was born in 1932 in Pesquera de Duero, one of the most coveted wine-growing regions in Spain.
As a child he would tread the grapes in the wine presses of his village and at the age of 14 he was selling jugs of wine in the area with his father.
In 1987 Emilio and his sons, José and Javier, decided to produce and market their own wines, opting for vineyards of native clones of Tempranillo.
Currently, Bodegas Emilio Moro owns 200 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in the surroundings of Pesquera de Duero, the birthplace of the winery's founder, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
