RED WINE PARCEL 12 The Finca Constancia 12 Red Wine from the Finca Constancia winery (González Byass) is made from the selection of the best Graciano grapes from Parcel 12.

It is a wine that ages for 8 months in new French oak barrels.

The Finca Constancia winery is located in the municipality of Otero in the province of Toledo.

The important González Byass winery acquired it in 2000.

After a thorough study of the climate and soil characteristics, the varieties that were best suited to the area were planted.

The Graciano variety is planted on Plot 12, located at the western end of the Estate.

It yields very high quality grapes that are harvested by hand.

The vines are grown in granitic soils that give mineral touches to a very special Graciano.

The 2014 harvest was characterized by a final sprint in the grape ripening cycle due to the high temperatures in the days prior to the harvest.

These hot days were no surprise to the vines, which had already seen their flowering and veraison come early in spring.

By the end of June, almost half of the future harvest had already begun to veraison, suggesting an early harvest.

The cool summer temperatures helped balance the cycle, resulting in grapes with concentrated ripeness and a tendency towards stewed aromas, which will serve as raw material for pleasant wines with sweet tannins, a good aftertaste, and excellent aging potential.

It has an alcohol content of 14%.

This wine has a total acidity of 5.61 and a volatile acidity of 0.53.
