Méntrida, made from 100% Garnacha grape varieties.

Wine made with bunches from the top of an old 65-year-old Garnacha vineyard with granitic soil.

This summit has its vineyards exposed to the four cardinal points, thus receiving different exposures to the sun's rays, resulting in perfect ripening.

Organic viticulture, cold pre-fermentation maceration, traditional treading during fermentation, aging for 15 months in 2,000 liter French oak vats.

Bodegas Canopy is located in the town of Camarena, 40 kilometers from Toledo and 70 from Madrid.

The origin of Canopy wines lies in the different steps of the harvest, from the double selection of the grapes, once in the vineyard and once in the winery, until when the wines begin to be made, treading the harvest in small vats of 1500 liters to extract all the aromas and nuances from the grape, in the gentlest way.

Throughout this process, respect for the raw material is extremely important, so no additives are added.

The aim of all this is for people to enjoy the wines as much as the Bodegas Canopy team enjoys making them.

The true treasure of the winery are the different Garnacha vineyards of the Sierra de Gredos, located at high altitude and with siliceous-granitic soils, cultivated without any type of chemical product or herbicide, in order to maintain the soil of the vineyards, true living gardens.

In this way, the characteristics of the Garnacha grape are respected in order to produce the best wines of Gredos.
